Scotland member engagement evening – 20 May 2024

PDA members working in Scotland are invited to an engaging face-to-face event in Glasgow to discuss the challenges pharmacists face, how improvements can be made, and how to build lasting change.

Mon 20th May 2024 (6:15pm - 9:00pm)

This member-exclusive event, hosted by the Scotland Regional Committee, provides members with an opportunity to come together and discuss the issues that matter most to them. Attendees will explore how they can work together to build a brighter, more equitable future where the voice of pharmacists has a greater influence than ever before.

Date: Monday 20 May 2024
Time: 6.15 pm – 9 pm
Location: Scottish Trade Union Congress Headquarters, 8 Landressey Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow, G40 1BP

Based on survey responses provided by members earlier this year, this FREE event will cover the following topics:

  • Pay, pensions, and collective bargaining
  • Stress, workload, and health and safety
  • Independent prescribing
  • Organising for change

There will also be time for networking with the Regional Committee and other attendees.

This event is open to PDA members working in Scotland, including qualified pharmacists, pharmacy students, and trainee pharmacists. As attendees may be travelling from significant distances, they are welcome to arrive at any point during the evening.
