After raising concerns about the risk of patient harm due to inappropriate use of so-called artificial intelligence (AI) to include that seen in some of the pharmacy systems undertaking clinical checks, the PDA welcomes the Westminster government’s ’AI Regulation White Paper’ published on 29 March.

NAWP and PDA Education host event for International Women’s Day 2023 on the menopause

Attend the PDA’s sessions at Clinical Pharmacy Congress 2023

The Clinical Pharmacy Congress (CPC) returns this year from 12 - 13 May. The PDA will be hosting two sessions at CPC this year; 'Managing the risk of Antimicrobial Resistance from conflict zones (lessons from the war in Ukraine)' and 'Neurodiverse and disabled pharmacists, securing workplace inclusion'.

PDA Reps Network hosted equal pay event for members and pharmacists working in Boots

Named ‘Equal work deserves equal pay’, the event was organised to mark Women’s Pay Day, which this year was calculated to be the 23 February 2023, the day in the year when the average woman stops working for free compared to the average man, according to new analysis from the Trades Union Congress.
