Date: Wednesday 27 July 2022
Time: 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm
Why is it important to know your rights? Where do you get information about your rights? How does the PDA support you with your rights at work? This interactive workshop will help members to understand more. Register here.
Online learning courses: These courses all run from 1 August 2022 – 30 September 2022
Being a Mentor
The support provided by mentors ranges from advice on the trainee year to career development and even just being there as someone to talk to during tough times. Many can probably identify the specific ways in which they influenced your life and career. This programme will help members to ensure that they too can be a positive influence. Register here.
Mental Health Awareness
Poor mental health can have a negative impact on work and private lives. This course will help members to better understand mental health conditions, how to recognise work-related stress and how, together, improvements on mental health can be made in the workplace. Register here.
Taking the Stress out of Exams
Preparing for examinations can be extremely stressful. In order to approach exams in a positive and healthy way, it is important to be aware of two key elements: why you are taking exams in relation to your career journey in pharmacy, and secondly, knowing that you do have some control over the process. This course for PDA student members will help them learn how to better manage this. Register here.
PDA Reps Induction
This induction course for all PDA Reps and Committee members will help members to find out more about the PDA and how they can work with other members to make improvements and resolve issues in the workplace. Members will also learn some tips on how they can feel more confident in talking to pharmacists about joining the PDA. This is the first step in a PDA Rep’s development.
